OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2017 by Desiree Zwanck, Innate Solutions was inspired by a groundbreaking vision: to change how businesses approach sustainable development in emerging markets. Guided by the belief that investing in individuals fosters collective success, we prioritize people and communities in every strategy
Over the years, we have built a strong reputation through our integrated, localized approach. We’ve helped clients achieve key objectives such as creating inclusive supply chains, successfully embedding sustainable practices, and providing strategic guidance to enhance diversity and engagement within their teams. Our partnerships with institutions like International Finance Corporation, World Bank, Eiffage Energie Systèmes, Herbosch-Kiere, Green Climate Fund, Millenium Challenge Corporation and the World Food Programme demonstrate our ability to deliver measurable results and positive impact for local communities.

Desiree Zwanck is a recognized expert in sustainability and inclusion, with over 17 years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors. Based in Senegal, she has worked extensively across Africa, driving systemic change and delivering results in high-impact sectors such as infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, and transportation.
She has collaborated with partners such as Groupe Eiffage and Enshore Subsea, managing the social aspects of energy sector investments funded by the United States’ Millennium Challenge Corporation. Her expertise is further reinforced by large-scale collaborations with institutions like the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), where she has contributed to developing strategies that align economic performance with significant social and environmental impacts.
As CEO of Airpur Africa, she has led ambitious initiatives to improve urban air quality, addressing the severe health and well-being impacts of pollution. She has also designed and supported economic and social transformation programs to tackle rural challenges and promote inclusive and sustainable frameworks, particularly through her work with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
Passionate about Africa, Desiree is a firm Afri-optimist, deeply committed to the vision of a thriving and high-potential continent. With a unique ability to navigate diverse contexts, she is equally comfortable in boardrooms and on the ground, engaging directly with local community members.
